2009 Garden Writers Assn Awards

Not all garden writers belong to the Garden Writers Association. Only current members can win one of their writing awards. Here are the 2009 winners.

According to the 2010 GWA Meida Awards flyer, "All eligible entries for the 2010 Garden Writers Association Media Awards Program must focus on gardening and may be submitted by individuals or publishers that are GWA members or non-members."

OK, my new 2010 guidelines just this minute arrived in the mail from GWA.

You are correct!

Member author rates for submission are $45 or $60 depending on postmark.

Non-member author rates for submission are $130 or $150.

Publisher rates range from $100 to $225.
